If Your Numbering Series is Not Updated into SAP Business One Object Type

If you have configured SAP Business One Menu Document Numbering with module Related to Series,

Probably you have a problem when creates Series Number and create Related to Series, you can’t use the series in the transaction document. Even you have already mapped the Document numbering series to Period default and inputted check mark on Related to series Screen.

First, you must check on the database transaction table NNM1. Are your Series already have Object Code=0?

If your Series have Object Code = 0, you can fix it with below steps:

1. Open Administration – Document Numbering – System Initialization – Document Numbering
2. Choose Numbering Series code that has Object Code=0
3. Edit field Remarks (usually I just added ‘Space’ on last text)
4. Click Update button
5. Series Number should be updated with object Code and you can use the numbering series for the transaction

The point is, you must make Update Button appear to make SAP reprocess your document numbering.
